We collect as little as possible. Browsing FishableWaters requires no account. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) are kept briefly for security and debugging.

The map may open near your approximate location, derived from your IP address by our CDN. Nothing about your location is stored, logged with your identity, or shared. Your fishing spots are yours.

Accounts collect an email address, your saved waters, and your logbook entries, used only to provide those features. We will never sell personal data.

Text message alerts. If you subscribe to text alerts and verify a mobile number, we use that number only to send the stocking alerts you asked for — typically a few messages per week during stocking season, varying with activity on the waters you follow. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile number is never shared with or sold to third parties for their marketing. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.

Advertising on the free tier is served by Google AdSense, which may use cookies as described in Google's own policies. This site is intended for users 13 and older.
